Welcome to the BSC-CNS Al Factory Training Form

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the delivery of training activities ("Training Services") rendered under the BSC-CNS AI Factory Project (the "Project") and apply to any individual, institution, or organization accessing and making use of the Training Services.

By registering for, accessing, or participating in any Training Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Definitions

For clarity, the following definitions are used throughout these Terms:

• "Project" refers to the BSC AI Factory project under which the Training Services are provided.
• "Training Services" refers to any workshops, webinars, seminars, online sessions, materials, or related activities delivered under the Project.
• "Participant," "you," or "your" refers to any individual who registers for, accesses, or participates in the Training Services.
• "BSC" refers to the organization or entities responsible for implementing the Project, delivering and coordinating the Training Services.
• "Service Providers" refers to trainers, partner organizations, contractors, or third-party entities engaged to support or deliver the Training Services.
• "Personal Data" refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify a Participant.

2. Data Collection and Sharing

2.1 Data Processing

By participating in the Training Services, you acknowledge that certain personal data (such as your name, contact details, attendance information, and training activity) may be collected by BSC solely for the purpose of delivering and managing the training.

In accordance with Personal Data Protection regulations, you are hereby informed that the personal data you provide will be processed under the responsibility of BSC-CNS, Tax ID: S-0800099-D, with registered address at Plaça Eusebi Güell 1-3, Barcelona (Barcelona).

The purpose of this data processing is to manage your request, which consists in:

• Training: Registering for and being able to access the Training Services delivered by BSC or other Project partners.

In any case, you may withdraw your consent or exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection to processing, as well as the right to data portability. These requests must be sent at Plaça Eusebi Güell 1-3, Barcelona (Barcelona) or to the data protection officer of the BSC-CNS at the following address: dpo@bsc.es

You may also file a complaint before the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

2.2 Data Sharing with Training Service Providers

The personal data described in Section 2.1 will be shared with Service Providers engaged by the Project solely to deliver or support the Training Services. The Service Providers will process the data in accordance with a Data Processing Agreement and will retain it only until the completion of the programs.

3. Training Content, Limitations, and Disclaimer

3.1 No Guarantees or Warranties

The Training Services, materials, and content are provided "as is" without any guarantees or warranties of accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any particular purpose.

3.2 No Accredited Institutions

The Project and its implementing partners are not formally recognized educational institutions and are not accredited to issue academic or professional certifications unless explicitly stated.

3.3 No Certification or Qualification

Participation in the Training Services does not guarantee the issuance of any certification, credential, qualification, or proof of competency.

3.4 Participant Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you apply the skills and knowledge obtained through the Training Services.

4. Code of Conduct

Participants must:

• Engage respectfully with trainers and other participants
• Not disrupt the training environment
• Comply with all instructions provided by training facilitators

Violation of these expectations may result in removal from the training.

5. Intellectual Property

In case where the Training Services are delivered by BSC Personnel or BSC AI Factory Partner personnel, section (a) below will apply.

In case where the Training Services are delivered by external personnel (not affiliated with BSC nor the BSC Al Factory Partners), section (b) below will apply.

(a) All training materials, recordings, presentations, and content being provided as part of the Training Services, remain the intellectual property of the Project or its partners.

(b) All training materials, recordings, presentations, and content that existed prior to the Training Services, which are now being provided as part of the Training Services, remain the intellectual property of the external personnel.

Project participants may not reproduce, distribute, or share these materials without prior written permission. Project participants must respect the license conditions of any training materials and give attribution where required.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Project and its implementing partners shall not be liable for any errors or omissions in the training content, any actions taken or decisions made based on the training materials, or any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Training Services.

This limitation does not apply to liability resulting from fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or gross misconduct.
